ILADS 14th Annual Lyme Disease Conference

Shaping the Future: Merging Research and Clinical Skills
Objective

To present evidence-based medicine which clearly describes the clinical spectrum of tick-borne diseases, informs treatment, and delineates the scientific underpinnings of diagnosis and treatment.

ILADS encourages medical professionals who are new to the treatment of tick-borne diseases, or would like a refresher course on the basics of diagnosis and treatment to register for the Lyme Basics Course as well as the Conference. Learn More About The Course.

Conference Description and Goals

  • To teach medical professionals the cutting edge techniques of diagnosing and treating Lyme and other tick borne diseases
  • To explore pathophysiological mechanisms of chronic diseases that apply to Lyme and other tick borne diseases
  • To enhance collaboration between community clinicians and university scientists
  • To encourage initiation and publication of research studies on Lyme and other tick borne diseases by ILADS members

The Westchester Academy of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 15 AMA PRA Category I Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Target Audience

MDs, DOs, NDs, DMD, DVM, PhDs, RNs, NPs, PAs, LCSW and select alternative medicine providers. Lyme advocacy members will be encouraged as space permits. Medical students, residents, or interns may register at a discounted rate.

The Annual ILADS Lyme Disease Conference is designed to foster collaboration and dialogue between Lyme disease researchers and those who care and advocate for Lyme disease patients in a variety of settings.
