International Lyme and Associated Diseases Educational Foundation
The International Lyme and Associated Diseases Educational Foundations (ILADEF) is the educational foundational arm of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS). The ILADEF mission is to advance Lyme disease care through support of programs in education and research.
ILADEF is a scientific, educational, and charitable. It was approved by the Internal Revenue Service, as a 501(c)(3) organization. Under this designation, it may "promote health and welfare in the community by engaging in charitable, educational and scientific activities related to the field of medicine." The RIMS Foundation may receive gifts from any individual or organization, and donations are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law.
Turn the Corner Foundation
Turn the Corner Foundation www.turnthecorner.org is a not-forprofit public charity founded in 2002 by Staci and Rich Grodin, with headquarters in New York City. Turn the Corner is a leading national fundraising organization for research projects that focus on innovative treatment and diagnostic options for Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases. Through partnerships with other organizations, Turn the Corner is also involved with outreach, education and awareness efforts throughout the country.
